Downing Automation Services is an automation and electrical system integrator based on the Acadian Peninsula, serving industrial plants across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Newfoundland and Maine, in French and English.

Our core work is SCADA systems and PLC programming: control screens you can open from any device, and logic you can trust. Around that sits the service that keeps the phone ringing: 24/7 troubleshooting for any industry, plus electrical diagnostics, commissioning and certified infrared thermography.

We also bring the modern plant floor with us: Cognex vision systems, industrial coding and marking, connected scales for live yield reporting, rugged tablets, Zebra label printing, and our own web-based traceability platform built for seafood processors. We supply the industrial parts to back it all up.
